FROM RAW IMPACT
TO ORCHESTRAL WEIGHT.
Widespread Disease is a French deathcore band formed in 2011 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye. The current line-up brings together Éric Teuma on vocals, Pierre Morcrette and Sylvain Valette on guitars, and Théo Gendron on drums.
Since its early days, the band has shared the stage with major acts including Whitechapel, Thy Art Is Murder, The Black Dahlia Murder and Napalm Death, delivering intense and straightforward live performances with no gimmicks.
The band released Infection in 2011 and Death of Mnemosyne in 2014, followed by the full-length Chaos in 2017. The 2022 self-titled EP marked a significant step in its musical direction, introducing orchestral elements that added depth and atmosphere to its sound.
Now signed to Art Gates Records, Widespread Disease is entering a new era of releases, visual identity and European and UK touring—rooted in deathcore, driven by precision and heaviness, and moving toward a darker, more immersive sonic palette.
